One of the most common and cost effective ways to resurface tarmac surfaces is by top-dressing. Top-dressing asphalt, also known as surface-dressing, involves repairing the damaged and failing areas of a tarmac surface area by applying a tack coat or bonding sealant and then overlaying with a new layer of tarmac.

This highly effective process will extend the life of your tarmac car park, roadway, etc for many years to come and can be carried out repeatedly if work needs to be undertaken again in the future. We must note however that not all asphalt surfaces can be surface-dressed so we at Oxgate Surfacing will always inspect and assess every site before drawing up plans to suggest the best solution.
